An Unwavering Wave

So here we are, on flag day.
Reading and hearing all about Orlando the last couple days, I realized I took this just a couple hours before the shooting.

As the sun was nearly set here in the NW, the sun had set on many brilliant lives that fateful night in the opposite corner of the country.

We expect the sunrise, but we never know when the darkest of nights will prevent us from seeing any more.
